1. Type of Review

The journal applies a Double-Blind Peer Review system, in which:

  • Authors’ identities are concealed from reviewers.

  • Reviewers’ identities are concealed from authors.
    This system aims to ensure objectivity, independence, and scholarly integrity in the evaluation process.

2. Stages of the Review Process

A. Initial Editorial Screening (Desk Evaluation)

The editor conducts an initial assessment focusing on:

  • Alignment with the journal’s focus and scope.

  • Originality and scholarly contribution.

  • Compliance with the journal template and style guidelines.

  • Plagiarism screening (maximum 20% similarity, excluding quotations and references).

  • Compliance with publication ethics.

Possible outcomes:

  • Immediate rejection (desk rejection), or

  • Forwarded to reviewers.

B. Reviewer Assignment

  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.

  • Reviewers are selected based on:

    • Subject-matter expertise

    • Publication track record

    • Absence of conflicts of interest

  • Reviewers are given 2–4 weeks to complete the review.

C. Peer Review by Reviewers

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

  • Originality and novelty

  • Scholarly significance and contribution

  • Clarity of research problems

  • Appropriateness of methodology

  • Strength of analysis and argumentation

  • Relevance and currency of literature

  • Consistency of conclusions

  • Quality of language and manuscript structure

Reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:

  • Accept (without revision)

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Reject

D. Editorial Decision

The editor considers:

  • Reviewers’ reports

  • Consistency of reviewers’ assessments

  • Journal editorial policies

In cases of significant disagreement, a third reviewer may be appointed.

E. Author Revision

  • Authors must submit a revised manuscript accompanied by a response to reviewers.

  • Major revisions may be sent back to reviewers for further evaluation.

F. Final Decision

The editor makes the final decision:

  • Accepted for publication, or

  • Rejected

Accepted manuscripts proceed to:

  • Copyediting

  • Layout editing

  • Proofreading

  • Publishing

3. Reviewer Ethics

Reviewers are required to:

  • Maintain confidentiality of the reviewed manuscripts.

  • Refrain from using manuscript content for personal benefit.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest.

  • Provide objective and constructive assessments.

  • Report any indications of plagiarism or ethical misconduct.

4. Processing Time

The average duration of the review process is 4–8 weeks, depending on the revision stage and authors’ responsiveness.

5. Additional Policies

  • The journal does not charge any fees during the review process.

  • All editorial decisions are final.
